Daddy George

White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card said on September 2nd that Bush sees our country as "a 10-year-old child" in need of protection provided by a parent.

Just over the last year, 1.3 million people have fallen into poverty, including 700,000 children, and 1.4 million people have lost their health insurance while family incomes have declined three years in a row.

I've heard of children disowning their parents. I think we need to follow their example in November. Our dad is a phony. He will not take care of us. He has not taken care of us. He never set out to take care of us in the first place.

To John Kerry, people matter. At this moment, he cannot know exactly what he will do when he is president, but we can be assured of one thing: John Kerry will work to improve the lives of all Americans and to repair our damaged world reputation.
